Meet Larry Lavender
Larry Lavender is our warm, friendly farm mascot — a heritage scarecrow who welcomes children and volunteers to the fields and reminds us that everyone deserves a fresh start.
You'll find Larry across our children's activities, volunteer days, farm programs, educational resources and community events — a gentle guardian of growth.

Community Enterprise
Vintage goods, furniture restoration, clothing, books and garden items — powered by community donations. Second Chances offers retail work experience, training, repair workshops and real employment pathways, directly supporting the sanctuary.

Children's Safety & Rights
The safety, wellbeing and rights of every child are our highest priority. Our care framework is guided by the National Quality Standard (NQS) and Victorian requirements for the care and early learning of children.
The National Quality Standard is a quality lens for child-centred practice. It becomes a legal standard only if HH operates an approved education and care service.
Designed around Victoria's 11 Child Safe Standards. Any future care for children will operate only once required approvals are in place.
Any future care for children will be delivered by appropriately qualified and screened staff, once required approvals are in place.
